During GEM lesson (Effective Speaking Skills) yesterday was interesting. Tutor Serene was preparing us for the test for the week after next. So.. the tutor's gonna give us an article and we gotta do a commentary and she's gonna ask questions. So, it's somewhat like a debate between individuals. The tutor will be the only one present on the test day and we're gonna be tested individually.
However, since ytd's lesson's only a prep for the upcoming test, the whole class was free to debate with whoever that was called to present his/her article.
Jian En & i were practically debating with the poor dude sitting in front of the class.


& since the tutor mentioned that she's gonna release the class earlier than usual, after one of my classmate's commentary, i went, "I thought you said you're gonna release us earlier today.."

& in order to keep the lesson going, one had to pick a piece of paper after presenting and there're different names written in the paper.. and suay enough, MY NAME WAS CALLED.
Walau, so the teacher said, "Ya lor, you'll be the last one presenting."

So my article was talking India govt demolishing houses and leaving hundreds of families homeless to prepare for next year's Commonwealth Games. But, the govt didn't warn the families beforehand about the demolishing of their homes so, when the bulldozer razed the huts, families are left with nothing.. nothing at all. There's no relocation for them too.

So it was easy for me to answer the questions from the floor since there's high possibility of my classmates standing on the same side as me.

& i swear cough syrup's a deadly drug.
After i drank it after breakfast, I felt soooooooooo drowsy & my body started to weaken.. like my whole body's falling asleep even before i do. No wonder i always hear people say cough syrup's acts as a good sleeping drug.
I remember last time B told me that his friend was hooked to drinking cough syrup as a form of drug.

That's scary.
Imagine having to pop by the clinic everytime to buy cough syrup without anyone knowing that you hooked on it.
Man, 2 teaspoons of it's enough to K.O me lah!


So before lunch, i went to nap for a lil' while my headache was killing me.

Started to feel feverish on Friday when i kept complaining to Hengyi during GEM lesson that i was feeling cold & when i was called up to present one of the discussion topics, i wasn't exactly in the right state of mind.. and i remember saying something like, "And ____________ ... errr.. *silence* okay, whatever, forget about that point."

Class: *giggles*

& when Hengyi and i were walking back to SB under the scorching sun, i was shivering tho' i was in long sleeves and i was certain i was falling sick. Sighhhhh.

And the next moment, my body started aching so badly, i needed to stop walking for a lil' while since i was damn exhausted. & after school was project meeting, i slept throughout and i feel so bad!
I didn't even know i was assigned something to do till this morning.

After school, i had to cab home since my body felt so feverishly hot & body aching so bad, i couldn't walk for long. Slept the whole night.



Went to school for Open House duty on Saturday and while i was at the Convention Hall, i was shivering the whole time. The gei-kiang me thought i was feeling much better so i didn't bring my caridgan along.
Gosh, the cold was extremely unbearable.

& after duty was another project meeting. Left half way since i wasn't feeling well. Texted daddy to pick me up from Khatib station since my body was aching again.
Daddy placed his hand on my forehead and prayed for me.

I felt so loved.


Slept for a while, skipped church & when i woke up at 6pm, B called to force me to the doctor since daddy & mommy were in church, but i stubbornly refused till i realised i didn't have much energy to walk.

B came over at 8pm, i think & he freaked out when my face was so red & my body felt so hot.


The doctor did a thorough check on me since i had almost all the symptoms of dengue fever & when the doctor told me i was having a fever of 39.5 deg, i totally freaked out.
'Cos if really got that suay, it'd be my 2nd time having dengue fever & i was told that the 2nd time's fatal.
Thank God i find myself recovering now.


Texted daddy what the doc said and when my parents reached home, daddy woke me up & said, "if not feeling well, come & wake daddy up okay?"

Wahhhhhhh, sibeh gan dong sia. LOL! Really lor, i feel so loved.



I was supposed to have leaders' training on Sunday morning in church but i texted Justin about my fever and when i reached church for the usual youth service, Clive prayed for B & i and somehow, i felt soooooooo touched, i kept crying. Kinonn & Justin prayed for me too.

Wahhhhhhhhhhhhh, i tell you, that day... i was damn touched to the max. HAHAHAHHAHAAH.

Had a slight fever of 37.6 deg last night. Slept at 11pm & somehow woke up at 2.10am when daddy switched off the teevee after his soccer match and gee, i couldn't sleep from then on.

I drank so much water, made 3 trips to the toilet and a few rounds to the kitchen to damp my towel & placed it on my forehead to shoo my fever away.

Laoniang's having a fever of 39.5deg.
B brought me to the doc just now since daddy & mommy weren't around.

I feel so loved today.
Daddy drove me home from the station after my Open House duty in school.
He prayed for me in the car.

Mommy boiled some tang shui.

B forced me to see the doc & since the clinic near my house's closed, he brought me to the clinic near northpoint.
& after which, he sent me home.. right to my door step.

Aw, i feeeeeeeeeel so loved.

What a 'great' start of the week.
My Monday slot in my organizer was apparently packed with a whole list of stuff to be completed within a night. Yesterday ain't any better.

Thank God it's wednesday.
School ended early but i'd to stay back for ITP briefing. Was still able to reach home earlier than usual tho', so i finally managed to set aside time to catch a wink when i reached home.

I thought tonight will be just lazing around & nothing else but i was just reminded that i've to complete my Fundamentals of Finance tutorial. Sighhhhhhhhhhhh.
On a brighter note, it isn't as tiring as the past 2 days.


On an even brighterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr note, i've got a total of 5 projects on hand to be due in 2 1/2 weeks' time, just before CNY!! HOW EXCITINGGGGGGGGGG.

After service, i had a simple lunch with my cell grp mates, most of them turned up!! We even planned for a steamboat on the saturday before CNY. WHEE~ we just had our cell grp bbq not long ago. & our cell grp's expanding!! Heard there're almost 20 ppl now! Whao.

First thing first.
I set my alarm last night to prepare for the 8am lesson today but i had already made up my mind to skip the first lesson and turn up for the 10am one instead. So, i guess God knew me well enough and covered my ears/disabled my alarm... and was woken up by B's call to realise that it was already past 8!
I intended to snooze my alarm which was supposed to ring at 5.30am and wake up only at 7.15am but B called to tell me that it's already past 8 and he's already so late for the first lesson!
Thanks Derek for waking B up who then woke me up to find Esther's sms informing me that nobody in class failed CRAA & FMKT paper!

& Esther collected the pairs of lenses i ordered online on my behalf on new year's eve. Erianti & i trained to CCK after school to get the lenses from her before i rushed to Sheryl's house to teach her how to put them on. LOL. Hilarious man... i mean, Sheryl. HAHAHAHAH.
Teach until sibeh bek chek lor, puh-lease. But at least she's starting to get a hang of it!

It looked awful on me when i wore it the first time but when i tried to wear them again just now, they looked better than before, ... prolly it's cos they match with my outfit pretty well, i guess.

So, today's the start of a new year.

Went for countdown at church tgt with family & B. As i grow older, i find time passing so fast.. it's like only yesterday when i went to church for countdown for year 2008. The memory's still so fresh in my mind! *gasp*



For this new year, i want a change. I want a change in the way i do & see things.



I wanna stand stronger this year.
I wanna work harder this year.
I wanna do my best in everything i do this year.
I wanna surrender all my worries to God.


Lord, i thank You for always answering to my prayers & cries.
I thank You for performing miracles and left me awed by Your powers. Daddy, i'm sorry for the times i've doubted You but ever since You stepped into my life, You've showed me that even the impossibles are possibles & what i pray for, i shall receive if i have faith.
Daddy, i thank You for picking me up when i was at the lowest pit of my life. Even tho' i can't see You, at times Your presence's so strong, i know that You've always been watching & guiding me.
Lord, after the camp, i've learnt so much more about You, i find You moving more in my life and find myself relying more on You now.
Daddy, i surrender all i have to You 'cos i know You've got greater plans for me, You'll turn my weaknesses into my strengths.


Baby, i thank you for being such a great boyfriend all this while, tho' i have been a great girlfriend to you, really.
